General Membership Meeting

StarStarWe have our first Evening Meeting on October 19th at 6:30 pm!

The first evening meeting for Groton SOSA will be held Thursday, October 19, at the Burnett's Country Gardens at 380 New London Road (Rt85) in Salem (about 5 minutes past the mall and The Dinosaur Place) at 6:30pm.  We will be making an adorable pumpkin and succulent craft (see the picture below). The cost is just $7!

To ensure that we have enough supplies, we need to have an accurate count of how many people to expect. So, please RSVP for this meeting.

We are also able to bring our own refreshments. If you are willing and able to bring some yummy snacks, please sign up at the link below.

If you need childcare please RSVP using the link below. Due to the nature of this event and the childcare being hosted in someone's home, we need a firm number of how many children to expect and their ages. Once you have RSVP'ed for childcare, I will pass along information about the location. We must have an updated childcare form on file, so please download that and bring it with you (the form can also be found on the page linked below). Childcare is CASH only:
$5 for one child
$8 for two children
$10 for three children

Additionally, we will be recapping the information presented at this month's regular daytime meeting and highlighting events to come.  Please feel free to forward the information about this meeting to other spouses at your command who may not be able to attend our daytime meetings.

If you have not yet turned in your membership form you can fill one out at the meeting or bring a completed copy with you by using the link below. Membership pricing is within the document and can be paid by check at the meeting.

SOSA will also be participating in the Trunk or Treat event on base on Sat, October 28.  We will definitely need volunteers, so if you are interested, please email Robin McGovern (rwm523@gmail.com).  Please also consider bringing a bag of candy to the evening meeting to donate to our "trunk."
We look forward to seeing you!
